Let's start with the essentials, the chassis. So there... We can say it, it is extremely rare to have a case of this quality in your hands. It's a pure killer. Made of an extruded aluminum block, it is laser engraved with a multi-step process. The finish is magnificent, the attention to detail rarely seen for a product of this type (a pedal), it's light, super well insulated and it hits the pedalboard once. Inside, it's a beating as the Japanese know how to do. Simply the best and it's beautiful. Yes, it's beautiful to look at it's so well done. First and foremost, the Titania is designed to work best on a big clean channel. So we plugged this chainsaw into a Two-Rock Traditional Clean for maximum headroom. We start with all the settings at 12:00. first thing that strikes is... the silence! The Titania being designed to work with 6, 7 and 8 string guitars, the switch will be adjusted accordingly. The biggest difficulty related to the development of the Titania was to design a pedal capable of handling the monstrous bottom of an 8-string, while remaining upright in its boots. This is the case, the Titania is a pedal with an ultra tight, precise low end, with very articulated mids and treble that cuts through without being nasal. The awesome 3-band active EQ plus Presence control really carves out this bulldozer. Moreover, the V2 further extends the field of action of the Presence and Mids knobs. The V2 also gains in output level.
